About National Association of Estate Planners & Councils

The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) is a countrywide association of associate or affiliate estate planning councils and estate planning professionals in the U.S. The institution concentrates on laying down and observing the superior educational and professional benchmarks related to estate planning services.

The NAEPC was incorporated in the year 1963 and it functions in the form of a non-profit seeking entity. It constitutes of a team effort containing cross-functional fields of study to cater to the requirements of the common public in an improved manner. The principal objective of the NAEPC is to promote sophisticated programs to increase the acknowledgment and approval of estate planning in the form of a specialization.

The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils promotes public consciousness about the nature of services provided by the estate planning professionals who satisfy these benchmarks. NAEPC offers a variety of services to the estate planning councils, the estate planning professionals, as well as the common public.

At present, the President of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils is Walter Lee Davis, Jr. NAEPC publishes monthly newsletters and the Journal of Estate Tax and Planning published by NAEPC has become quite famous as well. NAEPC also holds annual conferences for its members and in 2008 the annual conference is going to be held in Scottsdale, Arizona in the month of November.
