News from Indian Market:
Today, on the Mumbai stock exchange, the sensex has decreased by 476.96 points to close at 20,251.09.
The Nifty index of the National stock exchange also decreased by 132.55 pints to end at 6,074.25.
FMCG and power stocks have been effected mostly by today’s fall.
Out of thirty stocks from sensex pack 23 is red and so is the situation of European and Asian markets.
The share of Reliance Power IPO is oversubscribed 9.39 times and will receive bids for almost 1000 crores.
The BSE Mid-Cap index decreased by 1.10 pc to 9,431.89 and so is the Small-Cap index by 1.03 pc to 12,729.66. However, BSE have claimed a turnover of 8,139 crores which is less than that of yesterday.
News From World Market:
After compensating a small portion of losses in the first half of the day, the stock market’s situation is bad again.
At 8’o clock, S&P futures vs fair value was -12.7 and Nasdaq futures vs fair value was -21.8.
At 11:30, ET Dow was 215.66 at 12565.17, Nasdaq was 48.88 at 2429.78 and S&P -28.84 at 1387.69.
